Notice To The Public - COVID-19 Protocols

Port of Spain, Trinidad, Tuesday, March 17 2020: The National Carnival Commission of Trinidad and Tobago wishes to advise the public that, in support of our nation’s mounted proactive measures to contain the spread of COVID-19, effective today, (Tuesday March 17), the following procedures have been implemented, and shall remain in effect for the next 14 days:

  • All events at the Queen’s Park Savannah, including the Grand Stand, have been postponed for the next 14 days. Following the end of the period, the Commission will provide an update to the public on the status of the restrictions.
  • Clients, and persons seeking to contact the Commission during this time are specifically requested to contact our offices via email at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., or via social media on Facebook and Instagram. Persons can expect to have their messages responded to within 24 hours.
  • Social distancing protocols have been applied throughout the Commission and our offices; meaning that several staff members will be working remotely from home. Customers are encouraged to exercise patience as delays in business may increase during this period.
  • Customers who require other services can contact the NCC via 622-1670 or 710-5142.

The NCC understands that these measures, as a consequence of a general strategy to control the spread of the virus, may cause a measure of inconvenience to our clients and the national community. However, the Commission deems these procedures as necessary, and has likewise committed to joining and working with our stakeholders in doing our part to assist the greater public good.
