The National Carnival Commission of Trinidad and Tobago (NCC) cordially invites the media to attend and cover:

- Carnival City on the Eastern Side of the Queen’s Park Savannah, Port of Spain (The Drag)

Delivering greetings will be the Minister of Tourism, Culture and the Arts, Senator The Honorable Randall Mitchell, and NCC Chairman, Winston “Gypsy” Peters. Several specially invited guests and dignitaries are also expected to be in attendance at the premiere.
There will be a wide variety of local cuisine and arts and crafts, as well as concert-style entertainment from some of the biggest and brightest artistes of today.
