Port of Spain, Trinidad: Thursday, February 27, 2025: Anderson Marcano from Princes Town rose to Stickfighting honour, defeating defending champion, Oneill Odle in the final round, to be crowned the NCC National Stickfighting Champion 2025 at Skinner Park, San Fernando on Wednesday, February 26.
Marked by intense competition and a generous outpouring of public support, Wednesday evening’s showdown surpassed all expectations, setting itself apart as one of the most entertaining finals in recent history.
In the end, Anderson Marcano stood tall as the King of the Rock with the challenge trophy and the first prize of $30,000.
The NCC and the Regional Carnival Committee (RCC) sincerely thank this year’s participants and their loyal supporters for their roles in preserving and promoting Stickfighting within the national community.
