Laventille Serenaders maintained their lead in National Panorama Small Bands category taking both the Preliminaries and Semi Final Rounds.
The band which hails from the Cor. St. Barbs & Laventille Rds, Laventille scored 281 points for the Arddin Herbert arrangement of Winston “Shadow” Bailey’s “Dingolay”.
In second spot was Arima Golden Symphony with 280 points, followed by Golden Hands with 279 points. Two Tobago bands, Tobago Pan-Thers and Our Boys tied for the seventh place with 273 points.
Thirty (30) bands from across Trinidad & Tobago were judged last Saturday afternoon before an appreciative crowd.
Fourteen (14) bands will proceed to the National Panorama Final on Thursday 08 February at Skinner Park, San Fernando. Cost of tickets is $100.

The adjudication panel comprised Tommy Crichlow, Bernadette Roberts, Joslynne Sealey, Michele Dowrich, Rogelle Granger-Morton and Vorbin Cordice.

2018 marks the 55th anniversary of Panorama.
