Unlike previous years, Large Conventional Bands, will face the judges in a Preliminary Round at their respective pan theatres.
Seven (7) bands in the northern region will go through their paces on Tuesday 31 January starting at 7:00 pm.

In other related news, Large Bands in the East will have their moment of glory before the same panel on Thursday February 2.
Four (4) bands have registered in this category. Judging starts at 6:30pm.

Four (4) Bands in the South/Central Region were judged on Monday January 30 whilst the lone Tobago entrant, RBC Bank Redemption Sound Setters withdrew.
Fourteen (14) bands along with fourteen (14) Medium and thirty (30) Small steel orchestras will be selected to appear in the Pan Trinbago/NLCB National Semi Finals on Sunday February 12 at the Queen’s Park Savannah, Port of Spain.
Starting time is 9:00 am.
