The NCC Welcomes New Chairman - Winston Peters

Port of Spain, Trinidad, Monday, April 23, 2018: The National Carnival Commission of Trinidad and Tobago (NCC) wishes to advise all its stakeholders of the appointment of the new NCC Chairman, Mr. Winston Peters.

Mr. Peters has been, and continues to be, a strong advocate for the development of our nation’s cultural sector. He has served our country as the former Minister of Arts and Multiculturalism and brings a wealth of experience having also served as a previous commissioner of the NCC board.  

Mr. Peters replaces Mr. Colin Lucas, whom we deeply thank for his excellent stewardship and to whom we extend our best wishes in all his future endeavours.

In welcoming Mr. Peters to the NCC, we join with many in wishing him a successful tenure and look forward to what the future brings as we continue planning for Carnival 2019 and beyond.
