Oniel Odle Takes Top Honours In National Stick Fighting Finals 2024
Port of Spain, Trinidad: Thursday, February 8, 2024: Oniel Odle from Sixth Company, New Grant, Princes Town took home the top prize in the highly anticipated showdown of the National Stick Fighting Competition Finals held on Wednesday, February 7 at Skinner Park, San Fernando.
Out of a field of 12 highly skilled combatants, Odle would rise to the occasion, fending off the fiercest of attacks to capture the much coveted Stick Fighting Champion title and accolades before an audience of more than 2500 people.
The NCC and the Regional Carnival Committee (RCC) sincerely thanks this year’s participants, the stick fighting communities and their loyal supporters for their roles in making this another successful year of top-notch competition.
